CAMM-ER goes soft launch
CAMM-ER is soft-launched
vertically. The missile is ejected
from the canister by compressed
air, after which the body is turned
by small thrusters before the
main motor ignites.
The standard
launcher carries eight canisters,
and all eight missiles can be
fired in rapid succession against
separate targets over a full
hemispherical engagement zone.
