Maritime Indirect Fire System (MIFS)
The UK Ministry of
Defence (MoD) had
confirmed the selection
of BAE Systems as preferred
bidder with regard to the supply the Maritime
Indirect Fire System (MIFS) for the
Royal Navy’s (RN’s) next-generation
Type 26 Global Combat Ship (GCS) which
are expected to operate in the next global theatre
in various roles.
