The baseline MRAP has a
roof-mounted protected weapon
station, but alternatives include
a roof-mounted remote weapon
station armed with a 7.62mm or
12.7mm machine gun.
In addition to being used as
an armoured personnel carrier,
Rila MRAP configurations
include an ambulance, cargo
carrier and riot/control internal
security vehicle. There is also a
larger 6×6 model.
