Hawkei (4×4) protected mobility vehicle
Thales Australia had submitted its
production bid to the Defence
Material Organisation (DMO)
in September 2014 for the
production phase of the Hawkei
(4×4) protected mobility vehicle.
Hawkei has been developed
to meet the Australian Army
Land 121 Phase 4 requirement
and it is expected that at least
1,000 will be ordered to replace
currently deployed unprotected
vehicles within the current timeframe.
